Wise Women Gathering Place Safe Parking Fundraiser

We did it!

Although it doesn't show on this page, we successfully raised the $23,000 through various fundraising efforts. In fact, we raised more!

The period for the JJ Keller Match ended on December 7, 2022. We are so very grateful for the support we received in acheiving our goal. From your generous gifts to sharing the opportunity to invest in our community with others, it happened because of you. You are amazing human beings.

Wise Women Gathering Place is a Native American nonprofit that promotes Peace, Respect, and Belonging through skill building, sharing of resources and caring community support. Our services support people harmed by domestic violence, sexual assault and other trauma. WWGP provides safety, emergency shelter/housing, healing, connections to other resources, tools, and skill building for people of all backgrounds and lifestyles in Wisconsin's greater Green Bay community and surrounding Native Nations.

Wise Women Gathering Place had an incredible opportunity for a $25,000 matching grant from the J.J. Keller Foundation! Every dollar we receive, up to $1,000 per donation, will be matched. With your help, we achieved that goal, and more!

You make a difference by donating, by investing in your community. Your donation will help people seeking support from our programs, including our Safe Place Parking Program; healing from historical trauma; advocacy for those harmed by sexual assault, domestic violence, and other victimizations; Youth Services with advocacy, prevention, and support groups; and other healing services.

Without this place I’m not sure what would of happened with us. It’s been a life saver for us, and we know we are Really safe to sleep at night, knowing no one is going to bother us.”
