Donation protected
After 3 beautiful, challenging, and healing filled years of living in Nashville, Wiley is moving back to a place he feels truly at home- Western Mass! Literally on his birthday…
This fundraiser will help with:
-Moving fees ( have you seen gas prices lately?),
-Job transition from one state to another(this means little to no income until his business can bloom once he is settled in his new home),
-paying 2022 business taxes
-last minute medical expenses before being in transition.. AND
-Help him celebrate his bday while literally being on the road during this great time of transition!
Oh and did I mention it’s still a pandemic?! Whew! So many reasons to give!

Some words from our bday boy himself …
“Wow! It's been a long couple of years in Nashville. While the southeast feels like home in many ways, it's become very clear to me over the last year that I've deeply missed my communities in the northeast, particularly in Western Massachusetts. After many, many months of talking and dreaming with my best friend about trying to build our lives more intentionally together, hearing about projects that are still going strong or have finally formed in the area, and longing for friends I haven't seen in years, I've made the decision to move back! Western Mass is where I experienced my first big heartbreaks, where I fell in love with flowers and botany, where I grew my first herb gardens and home to the first place I ever landscaped. I'm excited to get back to the pine and hemlock forests, to have the space to return to my herbal practice and community organizing, and to finally commit to a place for more than a handful of years.

I'm asking for financial support as someone struggling to navigate disability and chronic illness while owning a manor labor business. Running my landscaping business has allowed me to access healthcare, medicine and joy that I have otherwise been previously unable to afford. This, however, is a double edged sword and a common experience for people who are working class--unable to step back and take rest when most often needed, and often work that allows us to thrive is work that hurts us. While my back injury has gotten more manageable with the right techniques and care, I've been nursing a wrist injury for the last two months and my fibromyalgia has flared up significantly. My hands are often tingling or numb at the end of the day, searing pain in my hips, thighs, calves and neck, overall exhaustion coursing through my entire body. I'm working pretty nonstop to afford this move, and that in its own right feels heartbreaking. I'm looking forward to a couple of months of easy work and rest before I consider restructuring my newly located business to be even more sustainable for my health and spirit. “
