Weylen was a beautiful 9 year old girl and her favorite song was Islander by the Derina Harvey Band.

It is with great sadness and very heavy hearts that we share the news that Weylen and her grandmother, Lisa, passed away Thursday afternoon in a tragic car accident.
Weylen was taken way too early from this life. She was a wonderful, thoughtful child with one of the most beautiful souls this world has ever seen. Wey loved all animals, but she had a particular passion for horses. She also loved to do arts and crafts and her creativity was just beginning to shine. Wey loved her mom more than words could ever express and she was fiercely loved herself by everyone in her life, but especially by her own mom. Her beautiful, gentle, passionate soul will be greatly missed and there is a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.
Weylen’s mom, Emily, is a veterinary technician at the Animal Clinic at New Lenox. We consider ourselves family at the clinic and we are looking to raise some funds to support Emily with any assistance to get through this extremely difficult time.
