Wissahickon Drives Beautification Project
Donation protected
Dear friends,
Like so many businesses, Birdstudio has been hit hard by the Coronavirus. Like you, our immediate goals were to remain healthy and help our neighbors and community.
Our efforts to date have included community volunteer work, material donations to produce face masks, and meal deliveries with a strict focus on sanitation and social distancing.
Our next effort is designed to lift spirits-- a spring beautification project that will significantly diminish the surge of *graffiti vandalism that has become so visible along Wissahickon and Kelly drive.
Zack has mobilized a system for removing grime and graffiti from bridges, stone walls, and structural surfaces.
A widely distanced team will target the most visible and neglected areas, removing graffiti tags, unsightly paint-outs and debris.
Though our volunteer work will continue, this will become our project to keep our artists employed, rent paid and lights on. The restorations will be swift, complete, and highly visible in the world and on social media.
Please let us know what spots you’d like us to focus our efforts on.
We will rely on local businesses and residents to donate. Your contributions will help Birdstudio through this difficult time and bring much needed beauty to Spring 2020 in Philadelphia.
Thank you for your support.
*Birdstudio is not anti-graffiti... we are anti-vandalism.
