Help with costs associated with SAMHA youth hockey

As a back story, I played for Houlton youth hockey from age 5 to 14, and then up through high school. I have a ton of great memories playing hockey in Houlton, and would love the opportunity to try and give back even while living several hours away. I think that hockey is an important part of Houlton youth sports, and that kids that are inspired to play should have the opportunity to be the best that they can be. I am hoping that funds raised will help with possible future tournament costs, costs for ice time, equipment, etc. That being said, I have signed up for an absurd running race in May of 2023… this race runs approximately 60 miles from Manchester, New Hampshire to the top of Mt. Monadnock in New Hampshire. It averages around 10.5 hours to finish, and gains about 6,000 feet of elevation over the span of the race. This will be a total test of my physical and mental limits, and I’m hoping to put this grind to a good cause - the future of youth hockey in the Houlton area. As a start, I have donated $60 to represent $1/mile roughly. Anything received is greatly appreciated. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO SAMHA.
