The tragic passing of Brian Durost

We are devastated to share that late this past Sunday evening (10/16) at approximately 11:30PM Brian Edward Durost’s life was taken by another individual while living in Myrtle Beach, SC. We are still learning the details about what happened that evening and it is a lot for us to process. What little information we have can be found on the Myrtle Beach PD Facebook page. We are grieving together as a family and ask for patience as we make arrangements and determine how we would like to honor Brian’s life. Brian had a big heart and loved his family as well as any form of activity that brought him near his first love, the ocean. We have established this fund if you feel you would like to help contribute to the expenses associated with the necessary arrangements moving forward.
