As many of you know, I’ve been diligently writing since Spring 2022 to bring a beautiful book into the world that’s 12 years in the making. I’m utterly delighted to share that With Intention, With the Land is nearly ready for you!
Interwoven with rich theory, storytelling, poetic love letters to the land and real-life examples from my clients, the With Intention, With the Land is an inspiring call out and guide forward for the new truth that is emerging in these tumultuous times: we need to radically reorient how we approach our relationship with the land, in our personal lives and in our institutions, to cultivate a sustainable future for the generations to come.
This book has the ideas, theory, concrete examples and activities to support you if you are:
- Someone who’d like to deepen your connection with the natural world and need some practical pointers.
- Oriented towards the intersection of social justice, personal development, eco-psychology, decolonization and environmental activism to uplift the collective in tumultuous times with out-of-the-box thinking.
- A professional with a creative, nature-appreciative soul who is frustrated and looking for innovative ways to transform your business and workplace around decision making, belonging, resiliency and team building.
- A wellness practitioner (therapist, coach, social worker, outdoor educator, etc.) seeking to learn practical ways to create safe and ethical spaces for your clients to have meaningful encounters with the natural world.
With Intention explores:
- Understanding the different modes of being we have when engaging with the natural world.
- Remembering our connection with the natural world, why we forgot, and decolonizing our mindsets around this relationship.
- Understanding Indigeneity, settler allyship and accessing our collective birthright to connect with the earth.
- In-depth exploration of the benefits from an intentional connection with the earth.
- Core principles for intentionally and authentically relating with the natural world.
- Straightforward practices and considerations for developing a partnership with the natural world for personal and professional decision making and wellbeing.
- How to cultivate safe and conscientious spaces for explorations with the natural world when working with clients.
- The power of working with the natural world through acts of creativity, earth art, and accessing the unconscious for out-of-the-box thinking.
- Resiliency and innovation practices for professionals and organizations in a changing world.

Supporting the Publishing Process
Seeing a book through the self-publishing process has been an act of love, discovery and dedication… and truly an act of community, with so many folks stepping forward this last year to offer me and this book a phenomenal level of support. Deciding to go the self-publishing route was certainly not an easy one, but it’s enabled me to get these words out into the world faster, and without compromise to the integrity of the teachings I’ve received and developed around connecting with the natural world. Self-publishing also meant I could bring together a highly experienced and aligned team to support the development of the book.
I know many of you understand the importance of our collective need to cultivate our (re)connection with the natural world and my sincerest hope is that this book will be a guide for such a path. With that, any support you feel called to offer myself and the book is deeply appreciated.
Want to be a book ambassador and help spread the word? Sign up here and let me know. A collective of creative, earth-loving souls awaits.
