With Love for the Nice Family

On August 20th, Jenifer Nice was spending her day getting ready for the Taylor Swift concert. She had traveled from Victoria, BC all the way to England to share this special occasion with her little sister and was so excited to trade friendship bracelets and listen to her favourite songs. In an instant, what was supposed to be a perfect day turned tragic. Jenifer suffered a medical emergency and despite the efforts of first responders and medical personnel, Jenifer did not survive.

Jeni brought sunshine into a room and her laughter was unmistakable. Her self deprecating humour and little wave was her signature. She had an affinity for playing small creatures in D&D, could crochet anything and loved watching drag shows. Jen always cared so much and her generosity toward her friends and family was boundless. She leaves behind her parents Graham and Lisa, her little sister Krissy, two beloved cats, many friends, colleagues, and extended family members.

With the complexities of having passed abroad on top of the regularly expected expenses, there is a lot that needs to be handled. As friends of Krissy, we are determined to make sure the Nice family is able to get whatever they need to make this period of time less stressful, and focus instead on taking care of themselves and remembering this amazing young woman.
