Help Nelson's Kids with College Fund

Hi, my name is Crary Jagger and I would like to raise funds to support our beloved friend and tennis coach, Nelson. Nelson inspired us all and made this world (and the tennis court) a better place each and every day. His two children, Cristina and Nelson, whom, (along with his incredible wife, Megan), he left behind, are in college (Cristina) and college-bound (Nelson). It will not surprise you to know Cristina plays singles AND doubles for the San Diego State's Club team and Little Nelson was a tennis recruit at Bucknell University; he will enroll come Fall 2023. While Cristina has applied for San Diego State financial aid (yet to be approved), and Little Nelson has received a partial "need based grant" at Bucknell, we can all understand that Coach Nelson's plan to pay for his children's educational expenses involved his usual (HAPPILY) teaching tennis 12 hours each day. No longer with us and able to execute these goals, I ask for your support in lessoning these financial burdens. Megan, Nelson's wife, started a jewelry business, "Surfside Jewels", while Nelson was in the hospital receiving chemotherapy and awaiting his bone marrow transplant. Megan succeeded in supporting the family with this business while Nelson was battling AML and unable to work, and she will undoubtedly succeed in finding full time employment to supplement the income from her jewelry business, in the near future.
