Witherspoon Jr. Family

On the evening of February 6, 2022, the family of Clarence Witherspoon Jr. (CJ) experienced a tremendous loss of their rental home and most of its contents in Des Moines, IA. As they were preparing for bed, the smoke alarm startled them and fire began to spread like wildfire. CJ and Andrea had just enough time to gather the 3 children (the other 5 children were safely at grandma's) and escape the house with the clothes they were wearing. But for the Grace of God, they might have perished in the fire. Things can be replaced, but lives can't. Our prayers of thanksgiving go out to the family for their safety.

Now, they have to try to begin replacing their home, clothing, furniture, and other household goods. We know that this going to be a long journey for the family. However, with your assistance they can begin to put some of the pieces of their home and their lives back together again. We are asking for your assistance to help them replace some of their basic belongings and household items. Any amount you can provide will be a blessing to them. Your support at this very trying time will be greatly appreciated.
