Linda's Battle
Donation protected
On November 16th my mother, Linda Burton, was admitted to WellSpan York Hospital for shortness of breath from COVID-19. She stayed on high flow oxygen for a week before being intubated on the morning of November 22nd. The moments before, she began saying her goodbyes to me. I told her she would fight this virus, and I would see her when she wakes up. I explained to her she was not allowed to give up. Since then, her recovery has been a roller coaster of emotions. She continues to be on a ventilator as her lungs are badly damaged. She has made impressive improvements over three weeks on ventilation. As of today, her vent settings continue to improve, but this will be the toughest battle she has fought. She is the strongest woman I know. Please continue to pray for her strength and recovery.
Any donations given will go to keeping her bills paid while in the hospital and medical bills. My mom always told me how much she loved her job grooming dogs and the customers she worked with regularly. I know she has a long road to recovery, but if I know my mom, I genuinely believe she will be back as soon as she can.
