Josh Weltner's Eagle Scout Project

My name is Josh Weltner.  I am a Junior at Seneca Valley SHS.  I am a Life Scout in Boy Scout Troop 399 in Evans City, PA and working towards my Eagle Rank. For my Eagle Scout project, I decided to volunteer my time at EDCO Park and Pool here in my hometown.  At the park, I along with my fellow scouts, family, and friends, will be building a 10’ X 10’ sandbox with a roof as well as a bench near the sandbox.  The bench will be placed onto a concrete pad that I will be pouring.  In addition, I will be repairing four benches throughout the park.

EDCO Park & Pool has been an important presence in our area since it opened on Aug. 1, 1987. Their mission is to provide safe, fun activities for everyone in our community and surrounding neighborhoods.  My goal is to help them accomplish that.
