Exodus to Oregon

Hi, my name is Ashe and I’m fundraising to move from Florida to Oregon. With recent legislation in this state, it is no longer safe for a trans person to live here. Not only have these recent laws prohibited me from using public restrooms, but have also heavily restricted my healthcare. These anti trans laws have also emboldened transphobes in the area and have made them more overt in their public displays of hate. I have already experienced slurs, discrimination in finding a job, and a general inability to function in my day to day life. I long to live on the west coast, as I was born there and it is home for me. We need to raise money to rent a pod (8500), gas and/or plane tickets (500-1200), and first months rent and a security deposit (3000) for my spouse who is also trans, their other partner, our 4 cats Brick, Boots, Alistar, and Salem, and our dog Lady. Part of these funds will be used to certify these animals as ESA’s, as I am a neurodivergent disabled person that requires them. If this goal is exceeded, or if there are funds left over after the move, any excess proceeds will be donated to other trans folx fleeing the state of Florida.
