Patrick Hatcher Memorial Fund
Donation protected
The Patrick Hatcher Memorial Fund has been created in his memory to help his kids pay for higher education. Patrick left this world much too soon at age 48 from heart complications. We’ve put together this fund to help those whom he loved most, his six children. Read below to learn more about Patrick and the loved ones supported by this fund.
Jonathan “Patrick” Hatcher was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on October 15, 1970. On Friday, July 26, 2019, Patrick went home to be with Jesus, and finally got to meet some of his personal heroes, such as 80’s musicians, Star Wars characters, Steve Jobs, C.S. Lewis, and other influential authors. Also there to greet him with warm hugs were his grandparents and other family members that loved him dearly.
Here still to remember him are his six children, Lauren, Rachel, Caleb, Silas, Jackson, and Griffin, one soon-to-be son-in-law, Lucas Trovato, his three siblings, Tammy Turkett (Herb), Steve Hatcher (Catherine), and Chris Hatcher (Dreama), his parents Wilma and Chad Hatcher, his twelve nieces and nephews, twelve great nieces and nephews, the mother of his children and co-parent, Jennifer Abel, his dog, Charlie, and many more loving family and friends whom he impacted greatly.
Patrick attended King College for his undergraduate degree, and then attended Radford University where he earned his Masters in English with a concentration in technical writing. For the past seven-and-a-half years, he has resided in Christiansburg, Virginia with his children and dog where he has worked as a Training Guru and Storyteller for Qualtrax Inc. in Blacksburg, Virginia.
He was known for his relationship with Jesus and demonstrated that through his service in his church and community, with a missions organization in Florida for four years, and on many missions trips to other countries and in the United States.
