Loika McCormick Preservation Fund

I am a professional photojournalist who wrote my first book, Gulag to Rhapsody: A Survivor's Journey by Paul Tarko, in 2002.  Upon the book being published, I moved to Doylestown, PA., outside Philadelphia, where I met Alice McCormick who became my partner.  Last year (2014), we moved to Hillsboro, Oregon, where Alice continued working as a childcare specialist, this time for KinderCare.  Three months ago, she endured a stroke seriously impacting her ability to speak and write. Alice's employer has hired a replacement.  Our unpaid medical bills and last year's moving expenses are seriously impacting our financial health, even as I continue to publish a blog/website at masonloika.com.  We need help.
