My name is Danielle, I live here in the Waller Texas. My dad was just diagnosed with throat cancer on February 4. He is a 22 year veteran from the Australian Army. He came to America and became a citizen with my mother. He's worked every day since he came here, we take care of our own, never asking anyone for anything.
He has health insurance through his employer, we have struggled to pay the deductable, but managed. Now he has to start radiation and chemotherapy on Monday at North Cypress Medical Center. The insurance pays 60%. We don't know how we are going to afford the co-payment. He is a good man, a good father and loves this country. He deserves the best medical treatment he can get. You dont realize how bad our health care system has become, until it personally affects.
