On Wednesday, July 5th Stephanie was transported to UF Shands in Gainesville due to infection and complications from previous emergency surgery on Sunday, July 2nd.

After having multiple surgeries in the past few days, possibly more upcoming surgeries, and infection she is anticipating being in the hospital for a while. Then she is able to come home she will have to have time to heal and recovery.

As a travel nurse she doesn’t have PTO and paid leave benefits when emergencies come up. There’s a stress of upcoming monthly costs of living on top of the stress of being in the hospital as well as her children traveling back and forth to Gainesville.

Do a few more surgeries Next week one being an ostomy not permanent but definitely needed to help my wounds from the infection get better! My twice a day wound care are beyond tolerable but it has to be done

Please keep me in your prayers i miss my kids, miss my work family, and am feeling really down!

I know god has me!! and this is his plan for me.

UPDATE JULY 15:

Update, had my sixth surgery yesterday. They closed up all of my wounds. Praise God I have a one drain left. I’m just waiting on GYN and plastic and then hopefully I’ll be on my way home. Yall continue to pray for me. Still very painful and very stressful. Thank you for everyone that donated and thank you for everyone’s prayers. I love you each and everyone.
