Saving Charlie
Donation protected
Hello, we are fundraising to help our friend Evelyn with veterinary medical bills accumulated during the fight to save her furbaby, Charlie Brown. Several days ago, little Charlie was attacked by an off-leash dog. He received serious bites to his neck which caused damage to his larynx and trachea. Extensive surgery has been required to save Charlie's life. The first surgery and hospitalization have totaled $21,000. He will need more surgery and a longer stay at the hospital. The estimated medical cost is $30,000.
This is not the first time that Evelyn has experienced the trauma of her dog being attacked by another dog. Six years ago, her Frankie was attacked and killed by another off-leash dog. Evelyn is a devoted and loving dog parent. She also is a dedicated elementary school district Occupational Therapist. When it was time for "OT" during the week, all of our Special Day Class students would be very excited that 'Miss Evelyn was coming!' She always brings fun and warmth to her OT lessons. However, it is difficult to pay medical expenses on a teacher's salary. The money donated to this fund will help with the high cost of saving Charlie. Please donate if you can. Thank you!
