Caring for Kiki

Kiki Morrow, a senior at Cannon and valued member of the Girls Varsity Basketball team, suffered an unimaginable loss last week. Just two days before the Girls Varsity Basketball team was set to play in the State Championship, Kiki’s mother unexpectedly passed away. Despite receiving this news, Kiki went on to play along side her teammates and win the State Championship. We are immensely proud of Kiki for persevering through this difficult time, which speaks to her character and ability to overcome challenges. Her grit and tenacity will surely prove beneficial in the years to come, as she has committed to playing basketball at Elon University in the Fall. Kiki is a treasured member of her community and needs our support during this time.
