MY name is Israa I am a Palestinian Canadian living in Canada due to the very difficult situation of Nour's family and their need for immediate help to survive, all the money will go directly to them in Gaza. Thank you for your support and kindness.
Dear Supporters,
We have always strived to cultivate joy in our lives, despite residing in a modest town and facing challenging circumstances.
My name is Nour, and I married the person I love. Together, we were blessed with three wonderful sons. Our dedication to them was unwavering, and we endeavoured to instill good values in them. Our sole aspiration was to ensure they had a decent life and grew up remembering that we never deprived them of anything.
Our lives were filled with happiness and contentment. However, everything changed when the war reached Gaza. Our once-happy home, brimming with love, life, and children's toys, was bombed.
Advised to relocate to the south for safety, we sought refuge at a relative's house, enduring shortages of water, food, and essentials with acceptance.
Hossam
Our firstborn child, our first joy, is calm as if he were a grown-up young man
He did not cry when he was young. I even woke up in the morning to check on him why he did not wake up
I found that he had woken up from his sleep and remained calm
I was surprised and asked why he did not cry or give a sign
I loved the children because of their calmness, and I thought that the house would never be devoid of screaming children
Joseph
When Joseph came, my outlook changed again
Youssef Al Shaqi loves laughing, running and having fun
He won't stop jumping and destroying things
His innocent face is full of misery
Ali
As for Ali, whom we call Alloush, he came suddenly and we were shocked
I cried when I found out he was pregnant, even though I was taking birth control
Because I felt it was a big responsibility
But Bilal distributed sweets and celebrated and rejoiced a lot
He always loved children and they loved him very much
Then, on 12/17/2023, tragedy struck when a neighbour’s house was bombed. The injured lay on the street, desperate for help. My husband, always eager to assist, rushed to aid them, only to become a victim when the area was bombed once more. His life ascended to heaven.
I am now left without a home, a husband or a support system in this city plagued by conflicts and wars. I am finally obliged to implore your help to get out of my country, allowing me to resume my career and provide my children with a secure environment.
Their father and I were providing them with our share of bread. I was lying and saying, “Help me stick to the diet, boys,” and their father was saying that he ate out. May God forgive us for this lie. I promised them every day that we would prepare the most delicious and delicious food in the coming days. I did not know that they would also deprive them of their caring father.. and that the food shortage was not this terrible.

Belal with his Father: Tragically, we must also share the heartbreaking news that Belal's father, the grandfather of Noor's children, passed away just two months after Belal was killed. This loss has added another layer of grief and hardship to their already difficult situation.
