On June 6th, Shrina Williams and LaKosha Hicks who are co-workers were victims of gun violence. Montrell Antwon Hatton entered the business and violently shot Shrina and LaKosha several times and fled the location.

The gunman is still at-large. Marshall Police Department and the Harrison County Sheriff's Office continue to search for the suspect. Suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

Due to the extreme injuries sustained from the gun violence, extensive surgeries, hospitalizations, and required rehabilitation they will need financial assistance. This aggravated assault has caused a great financial hardship because Shrina and LaKosha have children that need help.

We are in shock and completely devastated. Gun violence against innocent people aren’t easily forgiven or forgotten. We the family have come together to set up this GoFundMe, to aid in the effort to assist Shrina and LaKosha. What they experienced is a level of trauma we can’t put into words. We find joy in reading all the kinds words and expressions everyone has shown during these times. We are incredibly thankful Shrina and LaKosha are alive and still with us today.

The funds collected will go to the families with no strings attached, thereby fulfilling the full intent of the donors (you).

Any help, big or small, will mean the world to these victims and their road to recovery. Not only are we seeking donations, but also, we ask that everyone continue to keep both families in your thoughts and prayers.
