Hello,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share the story of my brother and sister's family, along with our two beloved nephews, Jaxson who is 9 years old and Beau is 14yrs old.
The incident happened in San Antonio, Tx.
On the night of May 20th, 2024, tragedy struck as their home was engulfed in flames, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
Fire Marshall Investigation has determined the cause of the fire was lithium batteries from toys or power tools.
Jaxson, the youngest, bravely noticed the flicker of orange lights outside his window and alerted his parents, Jesse and Sabra.
Jesse's quick thinking and heroism ensured the safety of his family and their six cherished dogs, though he himself suffered burns in the process.
Jesse and Sabra are the epitome of hardworking, loving parents, who have dedicated themselves to nurturing their boys into the remarkable individuals they are today.
Jesse, a Welder/Fabricator, and Sabra, a dedicated mom and medical biller, pour their hearts into their family and community. Jesse's role as Scout Master for his sons reflects their commitment to shaping young lives positively, while Beau's passion for sports and music, and Jaxson's love for swimming and all things Godzilla, reflect the vibrant spirit of their family.
The loss they've endured is immeasurable. Memories, possessions, and the sense of security they once had are now gone, leaving them feeling utterly devastated. My hope is that through this GoFundMe, we can alleviate some of the burdens they face, from medical bills to basic necessities like clothing, food, and shelter. Every contribution, no matter how small, is a beacon of hope in their time of need.
Thank you for considering supporting my family in their journey toward recovery. Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can express.
