Wild Man Dan Show
“I want to share [nature] with you because if we can touch people about wildlife, then they will want to save it. Come with me; share it with me. My job, my mission, the reason I have been put onto this planet, is to SAVE WILDLIFE!”
-Steve Irwin

The Goal
LET’S GET WILD! We want you to join in on the adventure as we explore the incredible world we call home. Together we'll learn, about Earth’s most interesting people, strangest landscapes, and wildest animals.
We understand that so many people’s lives are complicated and busy. Through the Wild Man Dan Show, our goal is to be your avenue into the unknown beauty of the world. We'll start right here in our backyard, the beautiful Southern California.
We are a team of passionate scientists, enthusiastic conservationists, and daring film-makers who seek to explore, observe, and document the overlooked worlds that inspire curiosity, awe, and sometimes even fear. But why should we fear the world around us? It is human nature to fear what we don’t understand or are not familiar with.
To remedy this, we want to break down those walls and introduce you to the animals that are not typically thought of as cute and fuzzy, but rattlesnakes, scorpions, and squishy tidepool creatures deserving our love just as well as any other animal. We hope to help you to look at nature with a new perspective so that it is accessible to you, your friends, and your family. Come with us, and we promise that you will love the weirdest of the wild animals just as much as we do!
And it is not just for the sake of interest or to satisfy our curiosity. All animals are important and need protections from the growing number of challenges that they face every day. Whether or not we realize it directly, without natural ecosystems, we cannot exist. Nature needs our help.
With your support we can make a difference.
The Show
The Wild Man Dan Show stars Daniel Quinones and will be a series presented on Youtube. Focused heavily on an array of species from reptiles, insects, and marine life. Long term, our intention is to produce a 20-30 minute show that will appear on networks such as Discovery, the Science Channel, or Netflix.
The foundation of the show will be researcher interviews and trekking through wilderness to look for animals in their natural habitats. But Wild Man Dan is a concept and representation as much as he is the man. In order to reach people of all ages, we want to supplement our show with an animated character who will reinforce our values and invite conservation-driven individuals of all ages to enjoy learning. Taking inspiration from our childhood in the 90’s, where cartoons and science shows inspired us, our adventures will be lead by our new animated guide. This Wild Man Dan will connect to the audience and help provide a fun and exhilarating learning experience.
It’s science, adventure, excitement, and most of all fun! Each of our shows will feature an amazing group of animals to present the facts and debunk some widely held myths.

If you are looking for family-friendly entertainment that teaches or education that makes you laugh, look no further than The Wild Man Dan Show!
Meet Daniel
The host and creator of our show is Daniel Quinones. Daniel has had a love of animals since he could walk! By the age of 3 he had gained a reputation in his family that he couldn’t come inside from the yard unless he emptied his pockets of any and all critters. Like many of us growing up, he was heavily influenced by Steve Irwin’s Crocodile Hunter TV show, fueling his passion for wildlife and conservation. In September 2006, Steve Irwin passed away doing what he loved. Daniel felt as though he has lost his greatest mentor, but in those moments felt as though his purpose in life was to continue Irwin’s work.
Almost 14 years later, Daniel is studying Conservation and Biology at Loma Linda University in Southern California. With Daniel's upbeat energy, determination, and inspirational outlook, he has influenced a small team of friends at Optech Pictures and Loma Linda University to help fulfill Steve Irwin’s goal of saving wildlife.
Support
The Wild Man Dan Show is an experience that will present you with the best perspective and highest quality that we can. The truth is though, research driven content, professional-quality film production, and detailed animation is expensive. The shows we make and the time that is put into them are operating on a donation-driven budget. Ultimately, we want to be able to devote all of our time to filming, researching, and caring for nature.
Your contribution would be of great assistance to facilitate this goal.
In addition, our mission is to contribute to the conservation and well-being of all life. We pledge to donate 5% of everything we receive here to Forever Wild, an animal rescue and sanctuary in Upland, CA. As Loma Linda University students, we want to share an additional 5% of everything we make from Wild Man Dan to the Loma Linda Children's Hospital.
Will you help us to achieve our dream of bringing the beauty of nature to you?
Thank you and stay wild!
