Help me get back on my feet

I'm out of money and I need a financial margin to breathe while I secure income. Otherwise I am not going to be able to make my house payment this month, or electric, or internet bill.

During all the years I wrote freelance people would ask me "What's your job?" and I'd dodge it by saying "I write," because I was ashamed to answer "I'm unemployed." Here's the truth:

I have not had any other form of income in a number of years, because I lived with my parents, both invalids, caring for them full time, and survived on their retirement funds. My mother died in 2016-- cervical cancer-- and the house's income dropped to one-third what it had been, leaving me caring for my father full-time and living hand to mouth. My father was both bedridden and, in the last year and a half of his life, consumed by dementia to the point that there was very little left of him.

He died about two months ago, and funeral expenses have wiped out all the money that was left. I'm scrambling for work and steady income, but bills are due in eleven days and I have about $250 in the bank to face them with. I need breathing room for at least a month or so to get back on my feet and build up some money in the bank. More specifically, I need at least $1650 by August 1st to cover the bills ($1200 mortgage, $300 water/electric, $150 internet and phone)-- the rest will give me a margin to survive the month and build on toward next month.

I've never done a Gofundme before. I'm deeply ashamed to ask for help now, especially when so many of you already generously support me on Patreon, but I'm up against the wall and out of options. I don't want to lose my home. I don't want to have to give up my cats. If you can help at all, even just by spreading this Gofundme around, you have my eternal gratitude.
