Patrick & his elderly father Albert Bruck are disabled and need your help to survive!

They had to move & abandon their home due to water/mold damage following a period of evacuation during a CSX train derailment.

Albert is home following a stay at the hospital with pneumonia caused by COPD. Patrick is disabled & lacks income.

Right now they need money for medication copays, travel/gas, food, utility bills, & rent.

Currently, over $1,000 is due to the electric company and Patrick needs $130 for his car insurance. So your donations will help them stay safely housed & continue traveling to medical appointments.

Patrick also needs $100 monthly for his medications.

Background:

Albert Bruck is 78 years old & has late stage COPD & congestive heart failure. He served multiple decades in the US military. Despite this he received no help from the VA on getting hearing aides, let alone help planning for his beneficiaries. He suffered severe mental health issues after his wife Betsy died of lung cancer in 2007, & had to be cared for by his children. He is currently recovering at his daughter Beth's house following his hospitalization for pneumonia. He'd like to be able to come home.

Patrick Bruck is 33 years old, disabled & without income. He has taken care of his father Albert since his mother Betsy died of cancer in 2007. Patrick has had severe mental illness as a child, & now suffers from chronic pain related to scoliosis & degenerative spinal conditions. Patrick makes sure his family gets medical care & transportation to every appointment. He's on over a dozen medications, & is working with medical team for rehabilitation & symptom management. He is also getting help from a nonprofit to find employment or disability benefit possibilities.
