WNE Law's Black Law Student Association

Western New England University School of Law’s Black Law Student Association chapter (“WNE BLSA”) is seeking your generous donation to help us finance our academic and community initiatives this academic year.

Your donation will directly help us fund our many community outreach events such as our annual Know Your Rights event, where we work to empower and educate local members of our community of their rights. Your contribution will also help us continue to promote the academic experience of our law students by providing funds for scholarships, book vouchers, bar prep material, professional development workshops, and team building/bonding events to curtail the stress of law school.

In addition, your support will assist in covering the costs of tickets, transportation, and lodging, for our student members eager to attend various academic retreats and conventions such as the annual Northeast Black Law Student Association Convention in February 2024 and the National Black Law School Association Convention in March 2024. These academic retreats and conventions are extremely vital and provide our members with the opportunity to network both regionally and nationally, get exposed to a wide array of firms and groups looking for young innovative talent, and to learn the necessary skills to advance their professional careers.

WNE BLSA strives to increase the number of culturally responsible black and minority attorneys who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.
