Nina Salter's Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On Thursday, June 4th, Nina was home trying to light a fire in her firepit. She poured gasoline on as an accelerant, and it burst the container she was holding, setting her on fire. After being doused, Nina was taken to the local hospital and then transferred to a burn unit, a 90 minute drive away. Since her arrival there, Nina has received skin grafts, and is well on the road to recovery. We are grateful that her medical expenses are covered by her insurance, but it will be a long time before she is well enough to go back to work; three weeks on the inside, but maybe more than eight weeks. After her release, Nina will also need to be able to drive back to the hospital for regular doctor's visits.
Nina is a single mom, and the paycheck she earns is the only income in her home, so in order for her to be able to pay her monthly bills, feed her family, and travel to her medical appointments, she needs your help! Please donate as much as you're able, and since this could continue for some time, please feel free to come back and donate at later dates. Even small amounts make a big difference when you add them all together.
Thank you for your loving support!
