Jake's Road To Recovery
Donation protected
On Friday, July 19th, at 3:09am, Jacob Tetreault was heading home from his closing shift on his electric scooter when he was struck from behind by a vehicle on June Street in Worcester. The vehicle took off leaving him for dead in the road with head lacerations that were stapled, all of his ribs broken on the left side, broken clavicle, pelvis broken in 3 places and horrible road rash. Since being in the hospital he has now suffered a collapsed lung and has had to have a tube placed. He has such a long road of recovery ahead of him and many obstacles to overcome as he is still in the hospital and will need physical therapy/rehab before he can even think of going home. It is absolutely unimaginable that someone could do this to another person without regard. The hope of this is to help with medical bills that are starting, along with all the things that are everyday life necessities while healing and him and his mom, Rhonda, figure out how to navigate this. Jake and his mom are very good friends of mine and watching this all happen has just been so emotional as you want to help but feel helpless. This is still an ongoing investigation to find the person who did this. I thank you for taking the time to read this, for donating if you can and sharing this if you do. Much love to you all!
