Wojtowicz Family

On Sunday, July 11, the world lost a beautiful young soul, Jayla Justice Wojtowicz. That morning, Jayla complained of a headache and she laid down to rest. When Jessie checked on her a bit later, she found Jayla unresponsive. Jessie and Nathan immediately called for help. Paramedics arrived and were able to get a faint pulse. Jayla was taken to Children’s Hospital where she passed away surrounded by family. The cause of Jayla’s medical emergency is currently unknown as the family awaits an autopsy and answers.

Jayla, 11 years old, is the oldest of the three children in her family. She is much loved by her parents, Jessica and Nathan, her siblings, family, and friends. Jayla was a wonderful daughter and helper to her Mom and Dad. She was best friends with her 10-year-old brother, Jordan, and a sweet big sister to her baby sister, 6-year-old Autumn. Jayla loved doing her nails, crafts, playing Roblox, and enjoyed hanging out with friends. She just completed 5th grade at Lino Lakes Elementary School and she was absolutely adored by her teachers. Her 5th grade teacher says Jayla was a sweet, helpful, and caring student who loved art and drew any chance she got.
