Recently, he suffered a massive heart attack that left him with a hole in his heart. He is currently in a medically induced coma, fighting for his life while doctors work tirelessly to give him a chance at recovery.

Shon has dedicated his life to serving others. He is a proud Air Force firefighter veteran who has always put his community and country before himself. His bravery and selflessness have touched countless lives, and now he needs our help.

Beyond his service, Shon is an incredible father to his 5-year-old son, Karsen, who means the world to him. He is also a loving son to his parents, Tay and Gerry, and a caring older brother to Ben and Josh. Our family is devastated, but we are holding onto hope and praying for a miracle.

As you can imagine, the medical expenses are overwhelming, and the road ahead is uncertain. Between hospital bills, future surgeries, and ongoing care, the costs continue to rise. We want to ensure that Shon receives the best possible treatment while also supporting his son, who is struggling to understand why his dad isn’t home.
