Help Woman Shot in the Face!

Four young men who walked up to a woman's stopped car in Midtown early Sunday morning of June 28, 2015 and fired a single shot at her face.

The 26-year-old woman, who has not been identified, lost vision in one of her eyes, said police spokesman Officer Terence Perkins.

Around 1:35 a.m. Sunday June 28, 2015, she was stopped at the intersection of Dauphin and Monterey streets when the strangers approached and one brandished a weapon. She suffered a gunshot wound to her face but managed to drive herself to the nearby Mobile Infirmary Medical Center, according to police.

She remained hospitalized and has undergone multiple surgeries in result of the gunshot wound.

Police have not released full descriptions of the suspects. Perkins said they were described as four black young men who appeared to be in their late teens or early 20's.
