Women Advocating Girls Education (WAGE)
Want to join me and make a difference?
I am excited to be part of a group of Women, advocating for girls' empowerment through education. The WAGE group are fundraising for Camara Education www.camara.org/, an Irish-born charity that provides computers, teacher training and innovative learning programmes to schools across Africa. With your support, I am hoping to fund a computer lab/e-Learning centre in Nguva Secondary School, a public school located on the outskirts of Dar-es-Salem, serving low-income families and where few girls complete their education.
How will your donation help?
All money raised goes directly to cover these costs:
€5000 raised will provide:
• 25 PCs to Nguva Secondary School
• 1 networked classroom server.
• 1 AVS (voltage stabiliser).
• 5 days of ICT Skillbuilder face-to-face training for teachers.
• Free access to the Camara Learning Academy platform where teachers can continue their online professional development.
• Access to digital learning materials and video-based content aligned to the local curriculum.
• Maintenance and technical support to the school for 4 years.
Camara Education Tanzania has evolved to become a leader in providing sustainable ICT in education, to date have benefitted over 150,000 students in more than 500 schools and have been linked with measurable educational benefits.
A donation of 30 Euro would provide access for 3 girls to become computer literate.
A donation of 200 Euro would provide a PC for Nguva school
Please contribute whatever you can, you WILL make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than us.
