Women of the Watershed

My name is Chloe Barnett and I am on a mission to highlight the challenges facing the Everglades, our main source of fresh water in South Florida. I recently created a new film for PBS called Women of the Watershed, it is a story of my personal journey through the various waterways, lakes and rivers of Florida, from the shores of Florida Bay to the edge of of the Orlando suburbs. This story also celebrates the integral role that Women have played in Everglades conservation and honors the original Women's Clubs that advocated for the conservation of an area that would eventually become Everglades National Park. I need your help in spreading this message of hope for future generations by sharing this film with audiences around the country and these funds will be used for our ongoing impact campaign as we visit with local communities to share this story. All funds will be used to facilitate public screenings of the film, travel expenses and educational opportunities that promote STEAM initiatives as well as highlighting the success stories of Women in Science. Please join us on this journey through the Watershed.
