Women Who Drum Festival

Hi Everybody,

It's time to start raising money for the 3rd annual Women Who Drum Festival. The first "Women Who Drum Festival." was a huge success and the 2nd festival was even better!

I started this festival in 2022 to feature women as drummers and band leaders. As a woman drummer, people have told me many times that I am either the first female drummer or the only female drummer outside of Shiela E. they've ever seen. I find this fascinating since there are thousands of women drummers, but apparently, people are unaware. Women bandleaders are rarely seen, as well. Our lack of visibility is the driving force behind my mission to showcase women as drummers and bandleaders.

This event will be free to the public; however, costs will be incurred. These costs are artist fees, flights, event insurance, sound, backline, video documentation, tent, chair rentals, catering, lodging, and ground transportation. The estimated donations I need is $25,000.

We did it 2 years in a row! Let’s make it happen again for people of all ages to come and enjoy the music FREE of charge.
