Women's March Rome 2019

Two years ago, women across the US and around the world came together to raise their voices against all forms of oppression: political, sexual, economic, environmental, religious and social and in the process created a new movement. Women's March has helped bring together a diverse community of voices to empower and inspire change and foster equality worldwide. 

This year, we will take to the streets again with a goal to #EndViolenceAgainstWomen.  The organizers of Rome Women's March feel compelled and inspired to join this call to action and will be holding another rally again in 2019. But in order to put on an event that will be even more successful than those of years past, we need your help. We are raising funds for:

-publicity campaigns and promotional material
-permits from the city in order to host our rally
-a stage, microphones, and sound equipment
-generators
-videography so that we can live stream and post video of our speakers and spread their messages worldwide
-various event costs

These infrastructural elements may not seem glamorous, but they are absolutely essential to putting on a successful event. This year's rally will have incredible speakers and dynamic musical acts that will be sure to entertain as well as inspire. If you want to help make this the best Women's March so far, please consider donating. City permits, and electrical costs will need to be paid up front, so please make your contributions as early as possible.
