Fundraising to Build a new women’s shelter in YEG

Hello,

My name is Sarah and I am a survivor of domestic violence. I recently started a not for profit organization in Edmonton to assist women and children experiencing domestic violence, domestic abuse and coercive control.

This fundraiser is to build a new women’s shelter in Edmonton (YEG) to provide women and children a safe place to go when fleeing an abusive relationship.

Funds will be used for the purchase of a piece of land and acquiring builders to begin the development of a safe shelter.

Our goal is to empower women to reestablish their self confidence and self worth, provide guidance with situational resources and provide a safe environment to thrive after abuse.
