Hello Friends!
I have been accepted into the Women's Unlimited Program at Nova Scotia Community College. This is a full time program offered exculsively to women who want to work in the trades.
It runs for14 weeks and assists women with barriers to employment by exploring, preparing, obtaining and maintaining employment in the trades and technology fields.
After completion, I am guaranteed a seat in whatever trade program I choose for September 2018.
I am asking for funding to help with living costs during the duration of the program. I will be unable to work, and as a full-time single mom, I have to cover living expenses for 13yr. old daughter, Chokyi and myself.
We are living in Halifax and need to cover rent, heat, water, electricity, food, phone/internet/, car insurance/payment, and Chokyi's extra curricular activities ( music and gymnastics).
I appreciate any help you can offer. I am so excited to have this opportunity to pursue a carreer in the trades and technology fields. Currently I am focused on Electrical Construction and Industrial, but I am keeping an open mind as I get to explore all 23 trade and technology programs.

Many thanks to you for your love and support!!
