House fire displaced a wonderful family

Hi everyone, I’m Rosa, and my good friend (Stella and Cobey’s mom), and her family, including their two dogs, escaped a large house fire early Saturday morning in New Orleans. What didn’t burn was damaged by water, thick soot, and heavy smoke. Although, home owner insurance will help with the recovery in the long run…immediate needs like temporary housing, clothes, food, basic everyday necessities are needed today. Update: adding insult to injury, Christina’s house is being looted day and night. Looters are taking anything  they can carry out. Police are taking reports but no leads to make any arrest..even with video footage.
