With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Professor WonSook Lee, a distinguished faculty member of the University of Ottawa's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, who departed this life on March 25, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites contributions to a Fundrazer page established to dedicate a memorial bench in Professor Lee's honor through the National Capital Commission's Park Bench Dedication Program.

Professor Lee's brilliance, dedication, and indomitable spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and students. Her legacy lives on through her scholarly contributions, her passion for life, and the countless lives she touched.
