Wood Acres Running Club Gun Violence Prevention

In our third year, 6th season, and 3rd ever fundraiser, the Wood Acres Girls Running Club, a club dedicated to empowering young girls through physical activity, is raising money to benefit the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation. The Sandy Hook Promise Foundation prevents the causes of gun violence by educating and empowering parents to make changes in their community focused on the areas of mental wellness, community connectedness and gun safety, as well as policy actions that we can support at state and federal levels.
