Woodstock Baseball 2023 Annual Appeal

Tax deductible
Happy New Year, Woodstock Sports Community!

We have officially launched our first-ever WAYBS (Woodstock Area Youth Baseball and Sports) Annual Appeal! We've got great energy from the incredible 2022 Phase One of the Vail Field rehabilitation.

Our mission for 2023 is to complete Phase Two of the Vail Field project:

  • Purchase materials to build out the dugouts.
  • Finish concrete work.
  • Purchase a scoreboard.
  • Purchase a second-hand groomer for infield dirt.
  • Purchase concession/equipment storage shed.

In addition, our '23 mission is to continue to support the gracious funding efforts of the Woodstock Rec, the Woodstock Farmers Market, and the Vermont Lake Monsters in improving the baseball experience for our youth.

  • Execute winter, spring, and summer clinics to improve our players' skills and our coaching.
  • Purchase a pitching machine and other baseball equipment for the kids.

To accomplish these goals, we've estimated we'll need roughly $40,000. Chris English and the Vermont Lake Monsters have generously offered to match all donations up to $20,000 - dollar for dollar! Thus, we hope to raise $20,000 via our website/GoFundMe campaign by March 1st. Any amount will be helpful. We are a certified 501c3 non-profit, and all donations are tax-deductible.

Thanks again for your continued support of bringing baseball excitement back to Woodstock!
