Woody's Medical Care Relief Fund

Back in and around April 19th our friend Woody woke up to a slight pain in his ankle. Due to his stubbornness and procrastinating ways, he didn't think that it was a problem. Two days later it started to get worse. He went to a friend's house and sat in an easy chair to get off his feet and relax it was getting almost too much to handle , barely walking on it. The next morning he had his friend drop him at the ER at CMH. He thought he had twisted his ankle at this point, but after the doctor examined him they rushed him into surgery .He had a blood clot in his groin that was currently cutting circulation to his left leg. With only  a  40% chance of keeping it, they cut open both sides of his calf, releasing pressure and  allowing the muscles to breathe again, saving his leg from another amputation. After two and a half weeks they moved Woody to an acute Care nursing facility to help him in his recovery where he basically had to learn how to walk on his own again two more weeks and a couple days later and his insurance running out soon he caught covid-19 inside the facility and has been in quarantine since All therapy came to a stop because of the virus. he was progressing nicely but being in lockdown made the work he put in almost worthless. He's got a minimum of two more weeks of treatment in the facility or until the staff think that he will be able to leave . He needs our help!  Anyone that knows Woody Evans always describes him in a few ways he's funny has a big heart and is someone that you have the most amazing conversations with , a shoulder to cry on , smart and a smart ass at the same time . tasteless Tuesdays , a fighter,  charming, and  just really a true friend.  And  all around amazing person.  He  has been through so much and truly deserves a break. So, donate what you can and share,  so others know his plight. Let's all come together for our friend who needs our help. As you know,  he would if the roles were reversed. w
