The Family of Worcester Firefighter Chris Pace
On Wednesday, November 13, 2019; Worcester Firefighter Chris Pace was injured during a tragic three decker house fire in Worcester, MA. Firefighter Pace was saved by Worcester Fire Lt. Jason Menard by being pushed from a third floor window. Lt. Menard died a hero as he not only saved Firefighter Pace, he led another Firefighter to a stairwell before turning back into the fire. Firefighter Pace’s family will be forever grateful to Lt. Menard for saving his life.
Firefighter Pace has been with the Worcester Fire Department since June 2018, prior to this Chris served his country in the Army and had been
deployed to Kuwait. Chris continues to serve in
the Army National Guard. Firefighter Pace was recently married in September 2019, and he and his wife, Melissa; are the proud parents of a one year old and have another child due in the Spring.
Firefighter Pace is currently hospitalized in the ICU with 14 broken bones including all ribs on his left side, his left arm and has suffered 2nd & 3rd degree burns. This fund is being set up with the hope of being able to help ease the financial burden for Firefighter Pace and his family at this time.
