Word of Life Christian School Needs Your Support!

My name is Emily and I'm one of the teachers at Word of Life Christian School in O'Neill, NE. Our school is a non-profit, private school right outside of town. We have preschool through 12th grade students and offer something really unique and valuable: a one-room schoolhouse model (though we have multiple multi-grade rooms) and a safe, family-centric environment. Our student body is very close and it feels like a family. It is wonderful, as a parent, to know what my kids are learning. Each year, our student body grows as more families decide to go in an educational direction that more closely aligns with their values and as they realize how easy it is to transfer.

Why I am asking for your help: we don't want to turn anyone away due to their inability to pay tuition and unfortunately, there is a great amount of need within our student body. I have many students paying their own way by working after-school jobs (what a testament to how much this means to them!) and many other families facing unique struggles. Another issue is the soaring cost of utilities, paper, printer ink, books, etc. There is staff to pay and materials for the upkeep of the school. The Lord has been faithful to us, but I'm asking you to be part of the way He is faithful. We need people to partner with us to cover student tuition and the excessive energy costs brought on by inflation and such an incredibly long winter (following our sweltering summer and fall).
