Words are Healing, Poetry is Therapy.

Hello, my name is Stephanie Jackson, I go by GeminiFox. I am a poet, creative and seamstress, living in Tampa Bay. I was a finalist for Best Spoken Word Artist for Best of the Bay 2023. I am requesting funding to assist me in competing at WOWPS (Women of the World Poetry Slam) to represent Tampa Bay. I am requesting support for travel, lodging and expenses. It will be my first time on an international stage. This is more than a journey of self-discovery. I truly believe that words are healing. I’m currently pursuing my associates degree in human services and plan to complete the journey of becoming a counselor utilizing poetry as one of the therapy tools in my practice. I am excited for this portion of my journey. I hope that you decide to walk along with me. I appreciate your support.
