Work an hour for Renee

No one likes to hear that anyone has been diagnosed with CANCER. But then to add insult to injury-you have to take time off from work which means no income with a household to run and little mouths to feed.
Renee Hunter is a practicing dental hygienist in Halifax who, at the age of 41, has been diagnosed with colon cancer, While the prognosis is uncertain until further testing is completed, it will require that she will be off work for 4-6 weeks initially.
As many of you know, in our profession of dental hygiene, sick benefits are rare-or non-existent--but the bills continue to roll in.
In order to support Renee during this fight, I am asking my dental colleagues to donate one hour of their wage (or whatever amount you can donate) to help Renee and her family thru the coming trying time.
The goal is based upon a 40 hour work week running the six weeks of treatment.
