With all of the stress, anxiety, and uncertainty in our community because of COVID-19, we wanted to do something to spread a little joy and happiness while keeping our own bodies strong and healthy!
We hope that this campaign can support BOTH local restaurants affected by the social distancing measures as well as a wonderful local homeless shelter, St. John the Evangelist (which supports the Michah Center and Wellspring), by purchasing gifts cards for meals and then donating the gift cards to St. John's.
If you are interested in committing to a push-up workout, we ask that you find some family and friends to sponsor you ($.10 per push, etc.). Once you complete your push-ups, ask them to send their donations in through GoFundMe. We would love for you to contribute in any way you can; every dollar counts:)
In summary, here is how you can work-out for our workers!
1.) Anyone who wants to commit to push-ups, reach out to family and friends.
2.) Ask them to pledge a certain amount of money per push-up.
3.) Complete your push-ups.
4.) Have your family and friends send in their donation.
5.) Sit back and enjoy knowing you contributed to helping keep our local restaurants up and running AS WELL as supporting a local homeless shelter.
