Workspace 4 Children Campaign

The Learning Hour is a movement inspired by the need to re-educate and manifested by Ordinary people dedicated to education. We are striving to build coalitions with like minded people in order to eradicate systemic racism. The idea is to educate and by amplifying the silenced voices of our community by coming together and exchanging knowledge. The Learning Hour Group, (Community Leaders, Educators, Lawyers, Youth advocates and activists) alongside members of District of Columbia Public Schools, are hosting a 'Workspace for Children" Campaign. This campaign is to ensure that every child we reach will have a safe, healthy, and productive learning/working environment inside their homes. We are targeting youth and families living in Ward 7 & 8 which encompasses the youth who lack resources, who are affected by socio-economic difficulties, and who need additional learning and behavior support. We are looking for long-lasting partnerships and sponsorship for this campaign to promote efficiency in youth’s work environment.
