Worland Family Support Fund

My father, Paul Worland, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly this month on December 12, 2023, leaving behind his wife and only son. He was a dreamer, builder, achiever, and long-time teacher of Transcendental Meditation and was loved by many. He was the sole provider with his own real estate development engineering business, but without him the large income that he provided is no longer possible. The only income my mom has is less than $2,000 in Social Security every month, with little to no savings. I myself am unable to work my regular job now that I have to help my mom and so have no income of my own. This tragedy has unfortunately left my mom with a large burden of debts and business/personal expenses that we need to fulfill and take care of in the next several months:

My father also left behind a large house that was his dream to build, but it unfortunately remained unfinished. It would be great to be able to finish it in honor of him and his memory before we sell it. All that is left to do is install kitchen countertops, light fixtures, a new roof, and any remaining trim and tile. There is also a substantial amount of clutter on the property that will take some time to clean up and sort through. However, given the large mortgage, it is uncertain if we would be able to keep the house given our dire financial circumstances.
