World Age Championships Azerbaijan 2021

I am writing in support of my daughter Ellie Reid who competes at elite level in trampoline and DMT. As this is a self funded sport the costs associated with training, travel, accomodation and kit is extremely high.

Ellie has continued to train throughout the covid pandemic due to being given elite status and has returned to competition over the last month. She trains 5 times a week at Flight Gymnastics Academy and is a member of the Junior GB squad.

Ellie was crowned British champion in 2019 and qualified for World Age Group Championships in Tokyo in Dec 19 were she placed an impressive 7th in the world.

Due to the covid pandemic she missed out on European Championships twice however she attended the British Open Championships in Telford on 2nd and 3rd of October and placed 1st in both trampoline and DMT. This has qualified Ellie for World Age Championships in Azerbaijan in November this year. Ellie relies solely on funding and fundraising to help with the costs associated with such trips however this has been extremely difficult due to the current covid restrictions.
